Ok, i've been playing in bands for about 20 years.... a Pink Floyd tribute for the last 9 years and other bands before that.

I now want to start a new band that has heavy burlesque overtones (might as well combine all the things i love in one place).

I play guitar. Im not really a rockabilly player, more classic rock/rock/noise/big solo's/eerie atmosphere stuff (think The Cure meets Pink Floyd meets Green Day).

So, i would like to start a new band..... are there any members here who would be up for putting this together? A female singer would be interesting, possibly a female drummer..... i would also need a bass player and keyboard player, maybe a sax player too (for those slight psychobilly moments).

Would be a combination of unusual covers and original stuff. The band would not be too serious, but would like to play at MoB style events and such-like. Free practice time is available, as is a huge PA, light show and all the other equipment.

sorry retro i only play the banjo... and im only just learning lol and as much fun as it is i dont think a banjo will ever have a place in a burlesque band its about as glamerous as a toothless octoenarian playing the spoons in soiled longjohns.
