What do most people use?
I am about to start work on my balloon dance act, after finally tracking down the outfit I was looking for, how do most people attach their balloons?

Seriously thought, the one thing I do know about baloon dances is that you should spend the money on better quality balloons. Several months ago someone tried a balloon dance at a High Tease event in Brighton and used balloons from a £1 shop.
The result was that things started popping of their own accord - which buggered things up a bit.

Angel has actually seen Red Sarah's balloon dance a couple of times. She should have made it a bit clearer, but she was actually refering to the process of adhering the said balloons to her body.

Since I take my bra off after popping all my ballons, I wanted a way to attach the balloons to my bra so that the popped balloon carcasses came off with the bra.
I tried invisible thread, but because that has no elasticity, the thread often snapped before I got on stage, leaving a trail of balloons behind me.
I now hand sew each individual balloon on to my costume. With a kind helper blowing the balloons up for me, I can now stitch 20-25 balloons on to a costume in about 20-30mins.

Thanks for the reponse so far. Sadly none of these are workable as I am planning on only wearing pasties under the balloons on my top half.
Sorry James I'm not hardcore enough to staple through my skin.

You could tape them onto your skin and when you pop the balloon, you could turn the popped balloon away from the crowd and discreetly peel it off.
Not ideal, but an idea.

Taping doesn't work at all as when your skin starts to sweat (eww!!) the tape loses its stickyness!!!
Try ribbon that you use to wrap presents, tie in a pretty bow at the back and once you've popped all your balloons you can undo the bow aget rid of the balloon 'carcusses'
