Im on a feather hunt
Having actually woken up before lunch which is a miracle for me Ive decided to try and make some fans today of the feathery kind but do any of you know where I can go and buy large ostrich feathers in London? Im too impatient to order any. The few places Ive been to so far in Kingston and Croydon only sell small ones and theres not enough of the same colour for the amount I need

I agree John Lewis but try to shop around first as they can be quite expensive.

You could also contact Miss Diamond Blush as she has makes beautiful fans and therefor has a massive stock of feathers. If you live near the Kingston area, then that could be quite convenient to meet Miss DB.
John Lewis is quite good for getting a hold of lots of feathers but you will end up spending a lot in order to make the fans fluffy enough. You'll need 24 at least.... At John Lewis the feathers will likely be £3+ and that is for the standard large feathers - not the really, really fluffy ones.

There is a wholesale shop on little Poland street (or something) behind Oxford Street. They do a lot of feathers, not sure they have the really big fluffy ones though... It's probably worth having a look!
