If you're like me and can barely make a cup of tea let alone make clothing and accessories... Marks and Spencer have some divine hair accessories in the sale. I just picked up a pink and black fascinator with a black net veil and bright pink feathers for £8!!!!! They have lots of different ones too and also some lovely pale pink gloves. I would imagine they'd have the same stock at all M&S stores

It's so pretty, I'm sitting at my desk wearing it... ;-)

Oooooh nice!!! Ive noticed Accessorize and even H&M have started doing some quite nice fascinators and pill box hats too!!

Topshop have got some lovely ones in, I just bought an electric blue vintage pillbox hat with feathers and veil from 'em for 20 squids, bargin!!

I havnt been proper clothes shopping in ages, Im sure Im out of touch with whats fashionable now.

That is bargainess, when ever I go in topshop the vintage hats are double that.

Wow thrifty shopping indeedy!!!!!Unfortunately the selection of shops in my town is rubbish!!!Think the nearest H&M will be Weston on the Mud!!!But hey im a sucker for a bargain too!!

I bought a really pretty skull cap type thingy with a veil and cute bow on top from H&M and it was only £7.99

It's like a giant mint Humbug!!!!!!!

Now I didn't tell you this, but I have it on good authority from a friend who works as a pattern cutter for a well known high street chain (I can't name it but it's two words, 1st, tidal inland waterway and 2nd, land mass surrounded by water) that burlesque styling is going to be big in the not too distant future. She's recently been working on some new patterns for the store which are based around the corset and burlesque. So much so that she's been given Dita's book for inspiration!

With any luck, before too long the high street will be full of gorgeous items! Ok so the corsets won't reduce your waist in the same way as a proper steel boned corset, but we'll all be able to get dressed up to the nines without having to search high and low for burlesque inspired clothing and accessories. So start saving the pennies now!

ann summers have just done a load of burlesque style clothes, but they are flock wallpaper style...?!
