I don't know why people at my work were looking at it (we're scientists, glamour is not normally our strong point, unless it involves a lab coat, and yes that is an idea for a routine :-) )but it came up in the browser history whilst i was procrastinating and checking my e-mails. They have some lovely stuff. Also, Miss Daquiri Dusk does some beautiful fascinators.

I've not been impressed with Accessorize recently. John Lewis have ahd some lovely things but they cost too much and they don't do student discount! Ah the joys of PhDs.... you get paid and you get student discount, huzzah!

I am starting an international campain to change the names of those little head covering thingys to what i belive is a far better name...fancifiers. I insist that from this moment on everyone in the Burlesue community refers to them as such. I am sorry, but I have deciced, and so it is the LAW. )

fascinator is a daft name but i cant say i make hats because theyre not. i was wearing one at an exhibition and a girl that used to be on my course said 'oh but thats fanciful isn't it."- i didnt have a clue what she meant.

i think this is the earliest ive ever posted, im in bed with really bad stomah cramp and no paracetamol.

Excellent! I bought a gorgeous pencil skirt from the above named shop and saw some other very lovely stuff! Will have to pop in again after payday to see what other goodies I can find!

Me too - it's a lovely satin one, and I've had my eye on a black satin pencil skirt for ages!
