Hello everyone :-)

I've just been booked in to do an open audition night at a local (ish) Cabaret Club, this is my first club performance, all I've done before are parties!!

I really hate my stomach (it has nasty scars on it) and don't really want to show it off, I have a gorgeous black waist cincher, (it kind of goes from just under the breast bone to just above my pelvic bone) do you all think it would be ok to keep it on or would that just look silly?!

I think it sounds lovely and it won't matter one bit that you keep it on. I've seen plenty of acts where the corset stays on and the rest is stripped off. If it makes you feel more confident then keep it. It's your routine after all!

No it doesn't look silly hunnie, a friend of nine doesn't like her tummy and she wears a waist clinch corset with gold pasties and panties and it looks really good!!!

I myself hate my bum so squeeze it into a nice girdle!!

I was just thinking the same thing the other day, i have stretch marks on my tummy that have yet to turn into silver sparkley lines and i was thinking of having an under bust corset on thoughout the show and just taking other stuff off, i reckon that would still be sexy as the other girls said, plus i'm thinking it will keep my tummy tucked up thoughout the show:-)

I know quite a few performers who keep their underbusts on throughout their performances and I think it's quite a good tease!!!

You should do whatever makes you feel more comfortable, because if your not at ease this will show on stage and won't come across very well.

You'll be fantastic darling, don't worry about the audience just focus on enjoying yourself and having fun!!!!!!

I did a double-act with Aurora Dawn the other day and we re-wrote the routine so that she kept more on than she had done when we'd done it before and it actually worked much better because it became more about the storytelling and the tease and leaving them wanting more.
