Porn & other unwanted material

I see that the porn thread has been removed, thankyou. I saw it earlier and logged off. Now I have a sense of guilt because there's a way of reporting anything like that, although I can't remember it. So apologies to the Moberators for not sending any of you a PM, highlighting that particular thread. Instructions on what to do in the case of any future occurings would be appreciated.

Actually there are a hell of a lot of porn threads that people try to post on this site, but I implemented several measures to stop as much of it as possible. Obviously it's not 100% foolproof, but it catches most of it.

We had a serious problem over Xmas when an auto spamming robot kept posting links to bestiality and child porn sites every few minutes. This is why I try to discourage people from posting their email addresses on here unless they use the yourname[at]whatever[dot]com format. Unfortunately spammers have special scripts which spider websites and look for email addresses and web links.

Does anybody know the name of the 'user' who posted this and I can delete the account.

Vigilant - LOL! I'm currently in the process of replying to about eight billion people to explain why I've not been able to get back to them for the last three days!
