You guys are fantastic and an inspiration,Burlesque is just the most FABULOUS thing ever.My dilemma is that i soo want to get involved and perform but is there any place in burlesque for a guy whose passion most of the time is dressing up like a lady?I know its not your normal thing to do but just would like so advice/opinions on it as i wouldn't want to look like a bad panto dame if you know what i mean.

i think there is room in the scene for you and who you are, the same as anyone else... there will always be naysayers but you are more likely to regret a missed oppertunity than something you tried...

travesty, or cross dressing, is a fine old theatrical tradition and should be celebrated. you are always welcome at any of my events dressed however you please - provided you dress up, not down!

p.s. you should check out performers like Blanche Dubois or Suppository Spelling (the latter being one of the most amazing 'drag' acts i've ever seen - such a great actor and dancer). they will inspire you.

It was fabulous! Dusty has a gorgeous voice and performance persona, he sang some of my favourite songs ever in the world, so I loved that. The acts were rather good too. PM me your number if you fancy and we'll organise that night out soon! xx
