Ant I'm sure there is room for you on the scene! To be honest, I was more surprised (but not in a bad way ...) at the presence of male stripteasers in burlesque than drag acts!
Just out of curiosity, is your idea to do a drag/female impersonator act, or a crossdresser/guy-who-just-happens-to-like-skirts act? Because I've never heard of the latter, but it sure would be fun!

It definately would be the latter Fleur as i am a guy who does like crossdressing and loves the skirts thing. Just trying to find a workshop a bit closer to home.If not i would travel to London.

Hiya Ant,
I've been looking for someone who may be interested in making a double act dance routine, for ages, but not many other guys seem keen on wearing matching skirts! Cant think why.
Are there any London-based guys around who perform under a feminine guise? I'd love to hear about this more.
I wish there were more acts from straight CDs, as personnaly I dont find drag queen performances have much appeal and there is a gap in the market for something more.

While it was a very long way from you, Gypsy Charms did a male burlesque workshop in Edinburgh last weekend and I'm hoping there will be more.
