Where are the best burly clubs/event nights to go to ??

Volupte is good for burlesque nights as is the Whoopee Club. Lady Luck is also fun.

Their is a huge amount on depending on the style of event you want:

Rembrants is a great venue and people tend to chat to each other, Movers and shakers is a good event to go to, and you will get to see new performers as well as more established acts from the comfort of a leather chair while sipping on a cocktail.

The Bethnel Green Working mens club has a bit of a school disco feel which is good or bad depending on whether you enjoy school discos. Some great performers grace their stage.

Volupte provide a sit down meal and is a good venue if you are going with a big group of friends, but tables tend not to talk much with other tables so not so good if you are looking to meet new people.
