Tell me about it,that Mr Brown and his cronies have got steadily more greedy over the years on tax allowances for the self employed and what you can and can't claim against tax!!!These days a decent accountant costs an arm and a leg too!!!

it does suck being broke and trying to make your props and costumes look as if you aren't.... my plan on this is to make costumes/put them together with the best of my ability/budget and then replace and upgrade parts over time as and when i can afford it so that i have a costume to begin with but as time passes it gets better! x

Yes, and he appears to be costing me my annual pay increase too, grumble grumble grumble ...

Same here!! I managed to find almost exactly what I was looking for at half the price I had originally expected!!!

It may not be a fantastic quality costume but DAMN it looks good on stage (and on the floor ;-) )
