with regards to Ella Emerald and the burlesque fanzine (which will be launched as Peeptoe mid - late june)
it appeared to some of us that huge flak was thrown at ella about the whole fanzine idea.
as i said at the time, no-one wants to rival rupert murdoch's circulation! lol
so this is why we're doing it online at first.
yes james did offer to do the website, however i think they want to run it themselves and kudos to them.
these ventures should be applauded, not picked apart.
and if one route doesnt work, another will be found. the scene needs new input to grow.
erm, i find the swedish thing a rather strange venture, as i cant even read the replies. but yes, its your site, do what you want lol!
as i said before, no-one was offended re: the vavavavoom remarks.
i was just using it as an example of how easy it could be to offend someone, even without the intent.
theres alot of wise words about not getting offended, i wanted to offer up an example of how even mob might have made a whoopsy. we're all human after all.
(but again, no-one minded. because we're nice! its an example.)
i think thats clear enough.
theres no malice in it. surely mob know me well enough for that?
but i do feel honoured to have contributed to part of the mob history re: the swedish malarky ;p
and i find this all rather amusing anyway!
