Hi there everybody,

I'm a new kitten in town, looking for some guidance. I'm orignally from Manchester but moved to a small scottish town (about 30miles from Edinburgh) about three years ago. It's been quite a culture shock I can tell you!! I love vintage glam, and try to look fabulous at all times so the locals still don't quite know what to make of me!!

I've been a fan of burlesque for a number of years but didn't really say to much to friends and family (it's so not their scene!) so I have been confined to being a curious onlooker till now but have decided to do something about my interest after recently having a major health scare which has spurred me into action!!

I'm so glad I've found you, I have so many questions?? Venues - where can I go, performers - who would you recommended in Edinburgh area?? Classes - Is there anything happening in Edinburgh anytime soon? etc, etc, etc.....

If your looking for some burlesque nites out, then give club noir a visit, they are usually in glasgow but they come to edinburgh too! And ofcourse The Ministry of Burlesque head to glasgow too! I know you said edinburgh, but these are nights not too be missed.

I understand that over excited feeling you've got, but I would seriously recommend you spend as much time as you can looking back through old threads there is such a wealth of information on this site that can keep you entertained for hours!
