Would someone be so kind as to help me get dressed?
Howdy!
Sometimes I'm quite jealous of the ladies that attend the burlesque nights, as they have such gorgeous outfits. Now, If I were into cross-dressing, I'd be all set, and spend endless sums on ball-gowns, corset and gloves that match my shoes...but alas, I'm not.
So...I really want to look my best next High Tease.
This is pretty much what I wore to the previous two nights ( but with a different coloured shirt the first night ) :

and I just don't feel it is elegant enough. Any help dressing me would be much appreciated. I'm quite open to ideas, so it's not likely that I'll shoot them down without consideration.
Thanks for your time.

with a thread title like that and a link to a pic you certainly get a ladies imagination going as to what to expect (ooh did I say that out loud - hush my mouth!! ) Its a lovely look its just a little too casual perhaps? a few simple changes and you should be ok

My dear Mr Walker,
I think most ladies can't resist a man in a dinner suit, and it always gives you a little something extra to tantalise us with when you take of your dickie, bow that is. Braces might also add some axtra fun.

Well hello there! Loving the matching hat and suit combo, definitely a look that you pull-off with finesse! Not enough people wear hats these days, keep it up sir. Pip pip!

Hey Mr Walker,
I think its great you want to make an extra effort.
I agree with Ruby - dinner jacket will have the ladies swooning but for something more casual go for wide pin striped trousers, maybe a nicely cut long sleeve shirt (experiment with colours) , a tie (could be same colour as shirt or a wide diagonal stripe but go for something that shimmers) and braces (black). I'm told most ladies appreciate a good pair of shoes.
Look at some of the photos from the Hanbury Club shows in Brighton - lots of fellas making an effort there.
Hope that helps.

Certainly for a nice bit of elegance go for evening wear, but if you do, please please please make sure you tie your bow tie yourself. A ready tied one just won't do at all! I know it sounds a bit snobby but it really makes all the difference. If you want to go for real all out elegance, get yourself some full evening wear, that is, top hat, white tie and tails. You can get all the bits you need from e-bay and you will never worry about feeling inelegant again!

I personally like the black suit, black shirt and white tie look. Very gangster. (In the Al Capone sense of the word...) And you can still wear a hat ^_^

Hello there.
I quite like the black suit and shirt but i personally would try a bright red tie you would look more Greenday than al capone.

Thank you kindly for your suggestions.
A dinner jacket with tails, y'say? Sounds like a good start. Mayhaps a new hat. I'm going shopping in G-Town today anyway, so I'll keep my eye out. Certainly, your avatar, Dashwood, is rather spiffing. And I do enjoy a good hat...
The Al Capone look is also a route I may take...the danger of course is if I go for a skinny tie, I would look like a Green Day clone ( not that there is anything specifically wrong with Green Day....well, I guess there is, these days. They have come a long long way from Dookie.... But this isn't a music chat, so I shant air my views about that. )
As for having the ladies swoon, there is really only 2 ladies I'm intent on impressing ^_^
