I just thought i'd share with you all a lovely little kit i purchased off amazon!! I bought it on a whim and wasn't sure what to expect, but it came through yesterday and i was pleasantly surprised!

The kit includes:

- a black silk scarf
- a lovely pair of red sequined pasties
- body glitter
- body glue for the pasties
- a little book with dance moves, hair tips, lighting etc etc
- and the best bit of all - 10 dance cards, with set routines - ranging from hula girl, naughty school girl, and BURLESQUE!! they give you tips about music, costumes, hair styles etc.

Although its mainly designed for 'bedroom use' i'd really recommend this kit for the beginner/anyone who'd like to get into burlesque but not sure where to start.

Its called the Striptease Kit and its by Jennifer Axen and Leigh Phillips..comes in a lovely purple box too!

On top of £24.00 for ordering Liz Goldwyns "Pretty Things" where shes researched in Burlesque , I am looking forward to a rather pennyless existence at the rate im spending.
But still ive been dying for that book for so long, the photos in it look amazing.

Pretty Things is next on my list...still waiting on Michelle Baldwin's Burlesque and New Bump and Grind - its taking ages to come through though :-(

I'm always ordering books anyway, such a bookworm lol. Currently working my way through the 'very short introduction' series - not burlesque related at all, but very good little books on philosophy, psychology, etc etc.

When you are already dating/married/taken but you have a 'shag pass' which allows you to do the deed should the opportunity ever arise. These passes are allowed because it is a) a once in a lifetime thing and b) will almost definately never happen!

Eg, my 'pass' is Christian Troy out of Nip/Tuck aka Julian Macmahon!! x
