Hi everyone. My name's Lauren but in the fun of Burlesque I have chosen a stage name, Venus Voluptia I am 19 years old and live in Northampton that is home to only one stripclub and, unfortunately, it's not the classiest of places. Well, not for me anyway. I do, however, poledance for fitness and even have a pole in my dining room (just call it in-dinner entertainment ) I have always been passionate about erotic dancing and have tried to find classes near to where I live but its so difficult as we still live in the medieval ages. I would like to learn to Burlesque with the idea of taking it up as a career. The only problem is where do I start??? If anyone could advise me on my first steps I would really appreciate it. anyway, you're in the right place to start if you wish to get into Burlesque. Take a look about for classes, or just start creating acts. You're likely to have to do a fair bit of free stuff before it gets to career status... as far as i know anyway!

im not a veteran or anything so other people would be better in giving advice!

Everyone I have encountered so far has been very helpul and encouraging. Kittie and James and other users have all been ready to embrace me and welcome me into their community.
