It was a lot of fun and i really enjoyed a few special moments including Red Sarah's new 'Miss Piggy' balloon pop which we will be sure to have soon at High Tease so that all the London folk don't miss out!
It was great to spend time getting to know the extremely bright and fun Angel La Vey (whom I will be working closely with over the next wee while) and to see Trixee emerge with the confidence and charisma of a star.
My other new experience was performing rather 'impromptu' with Jim Devereaux( you might know him as This Is Elvis, Andy Kaufmann, Tony Clifton and Captain Jack Sparrow so far) as we have decided to officially combine our mad ways in our new double act 'Toff and Tales'. Guess who's Toff and who is Tales.
We also met Sam Devereaux, (Jim's brother) and so you can expect to be mesmerized by this pair of theatrical mischief makers, in action at High Tease on 21st if all goes to our cunning plan.
The arrival of the beautiful Aila and Jojo of The Bee's Knees was an awesome treat indeed. Anyone who wants to learn the Charleston must go and see this pair before deciding if your knee joint are going to be strong enough to handle it!
Naturally, Jessie Pie was a sensation and Dusty made all sorts of new friends, fans and lovers (including the local cab firm) - he even debut'ed two new songs!
Barry kept it all smooth with his eclectic sounds from the DJ tables and all the Hanbury staff were great encouragement to us, especially the chef who makes the BEST hummus snacks ever.
Of course Mimi and co, Emily Dubberley and all the usual MoB lot were a delight to see and chat to again. Thanks for your support, enthusiasm and fabulous style.
All in all, one of the best nights yet.
Thanks you to everyone who made it all so much fun.
