There's a really good and not too expensive wig shop in the Granger Market in Ncl. Or there's a little shop called Extras which does surprisingly good wigs for very very cheap, it's opposite Poundland in Eldon Square.

I know that our local costume shop has access to an awful lot more stock than they order simply due to lack of demand- they offered to let me look through a catalogue and I could order what I wanted. I HAD to buy it though- which is fair. Perhaps the same for you in Newc?
