Default Mat Ricardo in The Slammer

Whilst James, Jim Devereaux and I were sitting discussing some new acts, the tv was chattering away in the background when all of a sudden Mat Ricardo appeared on something called 'The Slammer'.

Mat was fantastic and really worked well on tv and with the kids - methinks he should present it!

However - Mat - Why the feck is this kid's variety show set in a prison? Maybe we are too old, but we just didn't quite get it.

:?

Anyone else see this?

Couldn't work out why they would set a kids TV program in a prison. I was waiting diligently for obligatory scene where one of the prisoners dropped the soap in the shower - with gritty and hard-hitting consequences - but it didn't happen.

HA!

I still haven't seen it myself - glad you thought it went ok. I was under the impression my stuff didn't really work that well. The BBC didn't really get that I'm not an act for kids..

And yes - it's set in a prison - don't bloody ask me...

The only reason I did it was because it's the only real variety show on TV (and also that legendary juggler and personal hero Kris Kremo was on it a few weeks earlier)

My wife's mum said I looked gorgeous on it... That combined with this thread convinces me it was a sucess!
