sticky zips...

Hi I am having trouble undoing my zip smoothly for one of my acts its a new zip no missing teeth or anything when its not on it works fine the problem comes when I am wearing it ad trying to look sexy whilst unzipping.

i was having similar trouble with my zip at candy box,

missy malone has a nice ribbon on her zip for easy access.

try that.

If a zip is sticking get a pencil and run the lead along the zip. For some reason this lets the zip run up and down more smoothly.

See, my brain is stuffed full of all kinds of trivia. Shame there's no room for it to remember the really important stuff!

Ha! I was just about to give the very same answer. Yes, the pencil thing works, it's because graphite powder is a very good natural lubricant. And no, it doesn't work for that.

As well as burlesque I also scuba dive and have special zip wax for my drysuit which you just rub on the zip then pull it back and forth a few times.

So i'd say try your local diving shop. They also do liquid zip lubricant for a couple of pounds which comes in a small tube.

It works wonders!

Thanks guys! I will try them one by one till I get one that works! After a series of tests I figured out it happens where the material of my costume changes and the zip isn't that great anyway probably cheaply made.

I have to say you hid that very well! I loved your show it was fantastic and Missy is breathtaking! If I wish on a star every night and be really good perhaps I can get to perform at the candy box some day.Its my holy grail at the moment!
