If your name is too burlesque, you are too easily confused with other people.

I like the idea of combining a flower with a cheese--Brie Violet, or Edam Daisy. for instance. I didn't come up with this, I thought about it after doing a burlesque show with a cheese theme and someone was Lily Muenster.

I have a ton of alter egos: Fanny Fromage, Demi Monde, Pepper Au Poivre. Many years ago I used Tanya Hyde, but someone else was also using it and I once I found out I quit, since they were working much harder than I had been under that name.

I did NOT pick the stage name Jo Boobs, it was my "angry stripper" character and an old nickname that ended up being on flyers and becoming my name! Pick a name before a name picks you

Go into your bathroom, and pick random words from any two products. I tried it in my blokey bathroom:

Fruity Soda
Gentle Solaire
Moisten Exotics
Keepaway Fromchildren*

.or add a Berlin Music Hall snippet in the middle:

Rinsing von Passionfruit

Try it! I'm sure there's much more interesting things in a girly bathroom.
