The price of a small waist...
I know this question is a bit like asking 'how long is a piece of string' but how much would everyone roughly spend on a corset, maximum!

Maximum? Somewhere around the £400 mark. But it'll have to be darn special (like my wedding corset ) and be of really good quality.
My first only costed £80 from FGM.

corset
my favourite corset was £75 by vollers and pulls my waist in beautifully its an underbust so i can wear it comfortably all day. theres no way i have the budget to spend more then £100 so my others i've made for about £50 pounds. the best corsets are always tailor made to your size. im poor and just wear my beloved black one with everything!

cor sets a matter of money
If i had the money i'd hall my ass to paris for a private session with mr pearl and ask him to create something so aewsome that the queen on sheba would have to put her palace up for a second morgage to afford a third of the material.
Saying that i'm not entirely materialistic which is good as i'm a bit poor at the moment.
I've never spend more than £45 on a corset simply cos i can't afford anymore.
I'm more of a bask girl anyhoo.
my cheapest purchase was £3.
Overall as long as it lifts the bazooms and has the desired effect on the opposite sex what does it matter.

Have a look in the MoB boutique under corsets - there is a big selection and range of prices!
I think the burlesque style by Eternal Spirits is beautiful. You can choose your fabric etc of course.
Have a look!

the small waist debate
Hello!
Ive had some corsets one of which was made from vintage 50s fabric which is pea green with white polka dots (how fab), that are around the £140 mark.
I would nt pay much for anything that not steal boned. A friend of mine brought a corset that wasnt steal boned and payed £100 for it and i was doing it up for her on its madien voyage and the strings busted out of the hole and ripped the fabric. Lots of tears later and after taking it back to the shop she vowed (and i did tell her), that it was steal boning all the way.
Hope you find one that you luv and never want to take off, my corsets are my armour, i feel so fab wen wearing them, once ive got over the whole feeling short of breath thing, oh and not sitting down for a while until the bones have warmed.

the most i would spend would be about £300 - £400. You can get some really nice ones for a lot less than that. but if you're wanting something a bit special then look at the MOB boutique. they have some really nice stuff!

Well. . . . I only bought my first corset back in Feb this year! I am now hooked! So much so I went on a corset making course in August.
A few months ago I invested in a classic black corset from FGM. It cost me £200 but has more than paid for itself! I have worn it to a large number of events and always get comments on it. I also have some cheaper corsets that I have picked up from between £40 - £100.
I am planning to make a variety of corsets myself. . . however I do still intend to buy quality and very made corsets for my collection.
I have my eye on a number from the eternal spirits collection :-)
Good Luck!

Wow, thats actually much less than I thought, mine was about £165 but I'm looking to buy one or two more shortly, funds permittin. AlthouI admit my wedding corset and skirt were £1600! The most money I have ever spent on anything! If anyone wants to have a look its on the uptight clothing website, not sure of the exact address but it should come up in a search engine, soooo beautiful! x
