Just thought I would introduce myself to the gang. I came accross this site whilst researching ideas for some design work I was doing for work and was instantly hooked and intrigued that finally there are people out there willing to have a bit of fun (well thats the impression I got anyway).
A little about myself:
Names Stefan, I am 29 living on the wirral (in between Liverpool and Chester). I am a designer/artist and photographer. Love the arts, travel and going out and experiencing new things - or anything different than the usual of going down the pub every Friday.
I have never been to a Burlesque evening ( I think) so I am a novice as you all can probally tell.
I hope you are all a good bunch of people up for a laugh and taking me under your wings and showing me what Burlesque is all about! It seems that most of the events are centered around London which is fine as I love to travel anyway but I would like to ease into some events nearer to start with (Golden Lotus any good?). Let me know your thoughts on this?
Anyways I won't go on as I don't know if I have entered the right forum (so someone please let me know). I also have information about a Burlesque Ball in November which I would like to tell you all about so let me know where I should put the info?

Golden Lotus is WELL worth a visit. I performed at the first and will be gracing their stage a second time this Sunday in Manchester at the Frog and Bucket. For more info, click the link to your right!
