SHOES
I thought seeing as we're all agreed that shoes could quite possibly be better than anything in the whole wide world, that I would start a thread about it.
What are your fave brand/make/designer?
What was the best bargain you ever got?
Your favourite pair of shoes ever?
Whats your shoe grail?
I walked into schuh the other day and low and behold there was a shrine to Irregular Choice shoes. Why had I never seen them before? Where did they come from? Where had they been all my life? I think I may be in love.
I also found a pair of vintage 80's patent black Bally shoes with gold triangular detail in an old lady charity shop for £5. Bargain!
Anyone else want to share?
Busty

Shoes are without a doubt my favourite thing. I have approx 100 pairs. I do not jest.
Yesterday I got a massively high pair of heels, covered in black sequins form a warheouse store on Buchanan Street in Glasgow for just £5. They are beautful - Busty you'll see them tonight.
I love all shoes, but being tiny at just over five foot, I am a major fan of heels, the higher the better. However, as I@ve got older the cuts on my feet take longer to heel and I can't stand as long in them. i also now have flat feet.
I'm a bargain queen so any shoe brand is fine as long as the shoes are pretty. I would never payu hundreds of pounds, aminly cos I can't afford it, but I do see why people do as shoes in themselves are a work of art.
I also have wide feet which makes for fun shopping, but I've had some cracking buys off of eBay.

Shoes
I agree Busty, Irregular Choice are beautiful - I have 2 pairs, but they are soooooooooooo painful to wear! I struggle to find a size to fit me - I am a 38 or 5, but their 38s are too big and slide off my feet and the 37s are too small. So just make sure you try them on and make sure you can walk first!
I am a converse girl at heart (not glam at all, I know) but my leopard print trainers are hardly off my feet. If I really have to force myself into heels, my fave pair are some black, suede, eighties-style heels with bows on them which I got in Rusty Zip in Edinburgh. They are sooo comfy (for heels anyway!). Vintage places like RZ, Armstrongs (Edinburgh), Mr Bens (Glasgow) and Watermelon (Glasgow) are a fantastic place to get shoes, already broken-in so more comfy to wear and a bit cheaper too. Plus true vintage style. Delicious!

i love shoes, too much, it's unhealthy.
my favourite shoes have always been from vivienne westwood, sexy beyond belief. my best bargain was a pair of kurt gieger boots that were like £275 reduced all the way to £50 in the sale, and my favourite shoes ever would have to be my sexy black leather peep toes from vivienne westwood, the curve of the heels, the smell of the leather, it makes me giddy just thinking about them. although i'm very fond of my leopard print stiletos and my baby pink vivienne westwood ballerina rocking horse shoes.
although i walked into river island the other day and saw the cutest pair of rockabilly gingham kitten heels in the sale for £15! i was desperate to buy them but i'd already just bought 2 pairs of shoes in the last hour and my mother was dragging me out of the shop! they were such a bargain, i'm kicking myself now!

I love irregular choice too. But I have to agree with Daiquiri Dusk. I have 4 pairs and they all kill my feet!
I just got the most fabulous shoes on the planet from top shop. They're black satin with a black paintent heel, they have a little peep toe with a beaded bow above. I fell in love the second I layed eyes on them. And I was destined to get them as they are called Lucy! lol
Best bergen I ever got was a pair of black and pink satrapy sandals from faith for £5! but I never wear them because they are really painful lol

I would like to completly impartially recommend New Look shoes.
*coughs*I workinNewLook'sFootwearDepartment*coughs*
I have around 65-70 pairs of shoes and I'd say at least 50 of them are from New Look. But with 50% discount, I think that's perfectly allowed. Also, as I am head of department, I must set an example!
Trying to pick a favourite would be a bit of a Sophie's Choice moment, but I recently bought a beautiful pair or red sequinned peep toes with big bows on them. I also love my red polka dot drag queen platforms - they're huge, and they're plastic fantastic.
I love my shoes and my shoes love me.

I love Irregular Choice as well. My favorite IC shoes are a cute pair of heeled Mary Jane style which are black with white polka dots. But my very favorite shoes are my black, 5inch heeled shoes with the white Jolly Roger on the sides. I just walked past a shop and saw them one day and 5 secs later where mine! And Kittie Klaw said how lovely they were when I did her Tassel Twirling class last Sunday. So that makes them great in my book.
