I am completely distracted by the gorgeous corset Ms Klaw is wearing. Yum.

I'm gonna go with 'Hmmm, not sure' simply because, as with all acts, what sounds like a good idea may not actually turn out that good in the end. I guess it depends on what you do in the act, just making rude things or silly things with balloons may not be a hit but what you do around it wether it be talking to the audience in a comical manner or simply using your face and body to sell what you are doing could result in you having a surefire hit on your hands. I guess the best thing to do is go out and try the act on a live audience once you're happy with what you've done.

I shall wish you luck, and have my fingers crossed that one day I'll get to watch a very funny act by you which features balloons.

a friend of mine does balloon bending. every time he comes out with us half the people in the club end up wearing some sort of balloon accessory.

I have seen this done - very well and with interesting shapes!!!! It was part of the Fierce festival in Brum and was done by a performer at the 'Duckie cabaret. The cabaret itself w was hilarious - you all had to sit round one of the 12 seater tables (with strangers and other 'guests'.) You were then given a 'menu' of acts and some Duckie Dollars. You had to order from the menu and the acts came and performed at your table ... So you had to discuss with others on the table which acts the money should go on etc. After a couple of bottles of champagne (the only drink available if you do not count cigars!) you all felt you were friends anyway. The titles of the acts were bemusing so you were never really sure of what you would get. The highlight for me was the Barbie can can performed by Annie High Kick which involved a mirkin, two barbie legs and some pieces of wire ..... really funny!
