Weimar Republic at the Spirit Store, Dunalk last Saturday...

was absolutely FANTASTIC. We had been a little nervous as to how it would go down in a small town in the Republic of Ireland but really we couldn't have hoped for a better response.

It was a great buzz to introduce something that virtually the entire audeince had never seen anything like before and have it so well recieved. The crowd were just so open minded and supportive. My hat was off to them.quite literally.

I'd just like to thank Caz-O-Rama and her lovely fella Alan for having us down there and organising such a great show and Tig (who's name I promise to find the correct spelling to) our compere.

And of course Marianne Cheesecake for coming all the way to Dundalk to perform with us. That glove routine is as I said just GENIUS.

We gave 110% and it showed in the response we got. I hope that it was the first of many enlightening performances!

It was a fantastic night, it has to be said! Marianne, Puck, Elektra & Tadgh, thank you for being an AMAZING team and opening the eyes of Dundalk! They want more! Can you believe that?! So i've promised we will give them another great night in July!

Thanks to everyone for your kind words. The show was an absolute success. I loved my Ireland experience. I love the view looking out from the Spirit Store. I love Alan's interpretation of Dundalk folks (a videoclip will follow.) - but for real, everyone was lovely and so amazing. Caz and Alan took care of me like a family. Caz, Elektra, Puck & Tadgh have the true spirit to performance - such sass and personality from all! Keep it up and I thank you all dearly for making my experience and stay ever so pleasant! x
