Who's going to the Afternoon Tease?
I've not been to Volupte before and wondered what to expect. Do I have to book a table or can I just turn up? I'm very tempted by the idea of fan dancing and cake in the same place.
I really want to go as I usually miss most burlesque events (stuck in Essex tonight so will miss High Tease- damn it) Is there an age limit or dress code? I'm going to be with my friend who hates going out and his new girlfriend who's only 17 so might take her vintagey shopping instead and go next month.

I have seen the volupte website, and I am dying to go! My boyfriend says he will come with me, although its not really his scene - yet, who knows?

i've just reserved my table for saturday, yay!
there's no dress code as far as i know but it is a bar so i would have thought there would be an age limit of 18. then again i could be wrong, why not give them a call and find out? your friend might be ok if she's only drinking tea!

Definitely come! I will be waitressing and will do my utmost to enhance your pleasure but as you say - cake and fan dancing in one place - what can go wrong.
I don't know about the age limit either but the acutal bar is upstairs and we will be downstairs in the more restauranty bit so I don't know if that makes a difference.

Sorry for the double post. I just spoke to Miss Sienna-Lately and apparently there is no age limit. Also, a fair number of tables have been booked so it may be worth your while booking a table to be sure if you are travelling down.

In terms of age limit, my friend's 18month old charming little boy Salvie will also be going, so I don't think age is a problem! Wouldn't be surprised if he got on stage and started joining in dancing. Now that would be funny!
