Is Eminem appropriate for a male burlesque routine?
I'm currently developing a male burlesque routine and was thinking of using "Shake That Ass For Me" by Eminem and Nate Dogg - if you've heard the uncut lyrics they're not exactly "enlightened", but if the song was used with a "cheeky grin and a nudge and a wink" kinda attitude - do you think I would get away with it?
It will hopefully be quite humorous too - my background as a stand-up comedian should come in handy!

I think that sounds great. I don't think there is anything you can't do in burlesqu as long as you have the right attitude and the nudge and the wink are what it is all about. Go for it!

It sounds most intriguing! Would you be able to give us a few more clues as to what the act involves and what you will be wearing? Personally I love the idea - I wonder what Eminem himself would make of it?

Well i've got all my "costume" sorted, got my music sorted, now I'm just rehearsing . it's deffo more humour orientated than a sexy tease though !
And I'm trying to ensure it doesn't come across as anything like The Chippendales kind of thing, not that I have any where near the body to be a Chippendale !
And the Eminem track is only a very small part of the routine now.
