*WANTED : BURLESQUE PERFORMERS*

I am currently conducting a project on Burlesque performers and the process/preparation 'behind the scenes' and transformation into a stage character.

I am looking for performers to photograph, both getting ready and on stage; location and also perhaps in studio.

I have around 2 months to conduct this project, so shoots would have to be before, say, the end of June. During this time I shall be in (dates known so far) Sheffield 7th May, London 8th til 18th May, Leeds 19th til 21st May. The rest of the time I shall be based in either Nottingham or near Milton Keynes.

All participants would be permitted to use these images for promotional work if you wish, though if you are to do so and I have to travel to you for the shoot they derive from, then I shall have to ask for travel expenses. Due to this being a non-profitable project on my part, I am just asking that performers who wish to partake in it and i have to travel to shoot, pay my travel expenses.The shoot and images however would be of no cost.

I'm not sure about getting permission for the Dresden Dolls shows we are doing but you can definitely come to our performance in May. I'll mail you about it all anyway and you can see what you think.

Hi Natalie,

Are you shooting the MoB at Flirt tomorrow?

If so, please make sure that James or I have your details and that you make yourself known to everyone asap upon arrival at the venue.

As for your general request for travel expenses from performers - i have to say that i am a little confused as to what you are offering there. Are you a professional photographer offering to shoot performers?

Do you have a link for everyone to see your portfolio?
