Hi,

We've been trying to cast a film noir femme fatale for a while, with some difficulty, and a friend suggested the burlesque community. Seems so obvious now!

This isn't strictly 'work', since we don't have a budget. But if you fancy being Barbara Stanwyk or Ava Gardner for a couple of afternoons / evenings, we are an experienced and professional filmmaker & artist partnership, and we're aiming to produce a stylish wee short film noir that we can all be proud of.

There are a few lines, but we're not looking for trained actors, just someone who looks the part and is comfortable in front of an audience or camera. It's for an 8-10 minute experimental film noir, for an exhibition in Liverpool in November, as part of the Liverpool Biennale / City of Culture. We're shooting in Edinburgh this week and maybe into next week, and then editing and finishing the film after that.

May I suggest Daiquiri Dusk for this? She has appeared in several short films and documentaries, is a trained dancer and has a fair idea about film, havign got a degree in it and theatre studies!

I think you can PM here through the MobStars section. She's based in Glasgow but does have her own transport...
