A follow up form my previous thread really...

There have been developments on the night. Here are the details.

The night will be called 'Sunday Soiree', it will be the 2nd and last Sunday of the month. The dates we are currently booking for are the 12th and 26th of October, and the 9th and 30th of November.

The evening will be devided up into 3 acts. The first Act 1 & 2 will be made up of performences that last up to ten minutes each (maybe more, maybe lest) and will hopefully finish with a 'featured artist'. Someone who is able to do about half an hour (again, maybe more maybe less)and provides what I'll describe as 'a bit of a show' if you know what I mean.

We're still looking to hear from ALL kinds of acts, but I'm really keen to hear from Variety acts. Singers, magicians, comedy etc and so on. But I still want to hear from the burlesque dancers!

As part of the 'house company' I'm also looking for..

a) Play piano. It's been suggested, and I agree, that you cant beat live music. So any pianists please get in touch.

b) Someone to do the door 'in character'

Anyone taking up both positions must be availible on all dates above. Being London based would help, but isnt essential.

Where is the venue?

Also as a burlesque performer my acts range from around 2 mins 30 secs to around 5 mins would this be a ok amount of time for a act to last for yourself?

Oh yes, me too (ie. same as Trixie), my acts range from about 2 mins 30 secs and 5 mins 30 secs.

Alot of the dancers have asked me this, I should have probably worded it differently.

Any length of act is fine, but in the first two parts to the evening we're going to show the shorter acts that last up to about ten minutes... so anything below (or just over) that is fine!
