Hello everyone, you may have heard I'm starting my own burly/variety/music night in Carlisle, and I need a good database of all manner of performers wiling to come up here to do their thang! Northern England and Scottish-based acts would be ideal, in order to keep travel costs down for the first few months
As it's a new night, and subject to the small amount of funding available from the Princes Trust, payment will not be high at first, but bear with me and it will improve as I expand into running workshops, kids dance clubs and birthday parties and the word spreads! The fee I could currently afford would be £60/70 including travel, however free accommodation is available (at my house!), and wine and beers will be provided backstage, along with nibbles.
