Thread: A Fond Hello and a Request...

Hey gorgeous forum members, Holli-Mae here. I've been lurking for far too long - thought it was time i registered

In the New Year, we are launching an online pinup /burlesque magazine. I'm really excited about it so far - glossy and retro with proper turny pages and everything!

We still have pages to fill, so if you have an event coming up that you would like to talk about and publicise we would love to feature it.

If you write articles or have an exciting interview with a performer or model that we could publish, we would love to do that too.

l am eager to link to any other pinup /burlesque sites that would be willing to swap banners and buttons with us. In fact, a feature on any of these sites would be fantastic - we would love to spread the word!

We are also interested in hearing about your favourite sites (like this one!) or shops that you flock to for all your fashion and performance needs, not only to gush about them but also to try to review them in terms of service, delivery and products on offer. I lose count of the number of times I get asked about where to buy this/that/the other in different countries, and who can be relied on. If you make costumes and props, or supply clothing, we would like to advertise you.

As well as that, we want to feature a high quality centerfold gallery, in which each model or performer has a full page image of themselves, with their URL or next event displayed. This is another chance to get your work out there and promote your image. We are planning a similar gallery for photographers too.

We hope people will get involved in this - I am a freelance journalist as well as a jazz singer and model, and I have always wanted to start an e-zine - so why not start one about my very favourite things!

All looks great. Obviously I think here's a few magazine ideas floating around at the moment. But, for those of us on the reading end rather than the production end its all good!

Well, mine's much more of a blog than a magazine (link below).

However, if I can be of any assistance with content (either subject or supplier), do let me know. x

Just a quick message to you all regarding contributions for our launch issue.

Firstly, thankyou to all those that have shown interest and/or contributed articles and such so far. We are so grateful and excited : D
