thanks - but 'double entendre' MUST be said with Gallic flair.......rolled rrrrr's and all! Bit tricky for you though Maz with your dodgy keyboard! That's sooooo funny, like Jonathan Ross on helium!

I'd stick with Twinset and Burls - it's a fantastic name, plus you're a band, they're two burlesque performers, and you've got the url. You thought up the name in good faith, and it's a damn fine name....perhaps you could message them and explain that you're a totally different animal and that you came up with the name and bought the domain name before you'd heard of them......or offer to do a gig with them, doing backing to their routines and a your own pieces in between - two sets of twinsets on one bill?
The Russian Doll Lass - like Shrek's onion, but with sequins...

I think it's a terrible shame we have to change the name but unfortunately the Twinset and Twirl's agent has contacted us voicing his concerns about us having such a similar name, they have been performing for 6 years using their name and we don't want to make any enemies in the Burlesque world...
So I guess we'll just have to change

I do like 'something and the somethings' names, or since you do older songs what about something a little old timey... just a little brainstorm...
in terms of twins/sisters.... what about
The Twins of Tease (so your band would be Blahblah (whatever you named it) and the Twins of Tease)
ooh! or ...
The Tuneful Twin Teasers
Oooh, or on a more abstract note, what about 'Two Peas and the rest of the Pod' (as that covers your band too... although don't laugh if you think it sounds dumb!)
i like long band names!
Nope, i'm out of ideas... this is harder than it looks!
