Hi, I agree that the xmas deco idea was overly pricey for mums and families, but have you thought of approaching corporate clients or even clubs? They may not flinch at the price, might be worth a try

Love the pin up deco idea

Talking of expensive, I was in a shop in Wiltshire and somebody had also made these glass keepsakes ive been talking about, and had it in the gift shop for £20 each!!
Im starting to make individual ones, not for Christmas, just in general, il post a picture when im done.
Its tough to know what Im waffling on about without visuals isnt it.http://www.folksy.com/shops/IfIwasarichgirl -jewellery, tiaras, cocktail hats etc

Im in apanic at the mo, trying to get ready for an art market on sunday. You wouldnt believe how tough it is to get cheap C4 board back envelopes, just been to 6 shops, had to give in and buy full price in Smiths.http://www.folksy.com/shops/IfIwasarichgirl -jewellery, tiaras, cocktail hats etc

Hello, just to let you know, I love the idea of pin up baubles!! every year myself and my two children get to choose a new bauble for the tree as a pre christmas present (the idea is when they leave home they get to take all their own baubles and memories with them). I would say that on average this costs about £20 - £30 a year so personally if something was special pretty and festive and meant something to me I would pay £10 for it as I find that between £7 and £10 seems the average for handmade items. Perhaps you could sell them individually?

Hiya
Thanks for the feedback.
I wish I was clever enough to make baubles. The things I make are flat but Id like to think theyd be as pretty as a bauble, just not a bauble shape.
I shall post a picture of my makes so far asap.http://www.folksy.com/shops/IfIwasarichgirl -jewellery, tiaras, cocktail hats etc

Hopefully Ive manged to attach links to things ive been making, they arnt finished yet, i need to put Swarovski rhinestones on.You should be able to see glitter on them.
I had a flash of inspiartion and used a mirror for the backing of the middle left item.
