I find myself even turning around when I hear someone shouting anything that rythmes with my stage name. In Glasgow you can imagine that happens all the time.

I dont keep my real name a secret and i actually often say for people to refer to me by my real name. i'm slowly getting used to being called by my stage name and i've stopped doing that so much now. Both my real name and my stage name are pretty unusual names so if i hear either i respond.

My stage name is actually short for my middle name Heather. when i was a kid i hated me name and I used to get my friends to call me by my middle name and it got shortened. hence my stagename.

I tend to respond to my stage name quite well, but before I used it as my modelling/burlesque name, it was an internet user name I used, so I'm pretty used to it.

Some of my friends even call me Violet because my real name is quite common and they know too many people by the same name. It helps to differentiate.

People who don't know my real name tend to call me "Wildflower" rather than "Lady" which I suppose is because Lady is more like a title than a name. It always strikes me as odd when people introduce me as "Miss Lady Wildflower" because it sounds like a double title!
One show I performed at, throughout the night everyone referred to me as just "Flower" which i thought was really cute

I've only had my stage name for a short time really so most people know me as my real name as I entered the forum with my real name, but I'm always really happy to be getting called my stage name, so hopefully I'll be reponsing to it a lot more in the future!

I respond to my stage name quite happily. On a shopping trip with the lovely Vie O'lette we have been calling each other "Vie" and "Raspberry" across the shop and thought nothing of it until we get the funny looks. People seem to look at me oddly when I am first introdused as Raspberry, but I think when you get to know me it just seems to fit.
I often get asked on the scene if I prefer to use Raspberry or my real name, but my real name is so dull and doesn't suit me at all!!!

Yes, I always respond to my stage name - even when it's shortened to Viv!! It's nothing like my name - lol

I do!!!! I feel as though I have a split personality anyway. I know there are probably a few other Pixie's out there on the burlesque scene but I've not come across any on my travels yet so it feels quite individual.

My vanilla name is unusual too although I try not to mix my personal life with my burlesque life!!!
