Head Mistress advice
So hello everyone, I'm new to MOB and have been addicted to everyone profile, pics and posts. I just started my own burlesque troupe in December 2009 and it consists of 6 girls. We've had a few shows and they were sold out, a huge success for the troupe and club owners. My concern is we've had a few problems with gossip and loyalty. I don't know how to address it with the group without bringing down the energy. I don't want to lose any girls either but things are becoming more and more tense. Any advice? As a new leader and loyal fan to burlesque all I want to do is solve these issues and have fun performing . thanks so much, StrOker Ace

If you don't address an issue it wont go away or change.
My advice would be to calmly outline the issues as you see them, in private to those concerned - and then take it from there. Just be ready to consider all points of view as valid.

I agree with Kittie , and perhaps you could do it in an informal and neutral place, away from where you rehearse, so the atmosphere isn't tense...
good luck

Looking up!
Thanks for the advice ladies. Things are getting better and I'm learning as I go. Most of all I'm learning to let go for this may be the key! Nobody likes to be controlled so I'm going to focus on whats most important and that's having the time of our lives!
