London Alternative Fringe Festival 2010

The London Alternative Fringe Festival is a celebration of all things Cabaret, Circus, Vaudeville and Burlesque . A showcase of the capitals alternative nightlife running throughout August. In 2010 we’ll be running the festival as part of the London Festival Fringe – a brand new fringe festival for London.

Producers and Promoters

If you already have a show and a venue:

If you already have a show planned for August with a venue lined up we’d love to include you in the Fringe. Simply drop us a line at info@alternativefringe.com and we’ll tell you how to include your event in the London Fringe – including listings on both the Alternative Fringe Website and the London Festival Fringe Site as well as inclusion in the Fringe Brochure. Entry will be completely free of charge, however there will be a fee for inclusion in the London Festival Fringe brochure to cover printing and design costs.

If you have a show but need to find a venue:

If you have a show in mind but don’t currently have a venue we can help you find one – simply upload your show information with the London Festival Fringe here. We will then pass it on to all the suitable venues involved with the fringe who will then be able to contact you with an offer if they are interested. There is a £20 fee to enter your show to the venue pool.

Alternatively please feel free to contact venues directly and book yourself a slot as you would normally. Any show, or performance which is happening in London in August will be eligible to take part in the Fringe. Just email info@alternativefringe.com and let us know it’s happening and we’ll take it from there.

Performers

What we do for you

The London Alternative Fringe Festival’s main function as an organisation is to promote the fringe and raise awareness of alternative performance in London. We wont be advertising anyone’s show individually but we will be offering you several platforms to better expose what you’re doing. We will be running our own website – http://www.alternativefringe.com which will carry listings and tickets for all the events during the festival. We are also working as part of the London Festival Fringe so will also be carrying our listings on their website – London Festival Fringe. You will also have the opportunity to include your show in the London Festival Fringe Program which will be published in July and distributed throughout London.

There is no fee for getting involved in the fringe, all that we ask is that you include our logos on your publicity material and press releases and that you allocate a minimum of 30% of the tickets for your event to be sold through the Alternative Fringe Online Box Office.
