There should be a bit of information about older British performers too as Kittie has written this section. Also we have supplied quite a bit of video footage for the film although we're not sure what will have made it into the final cut.

Kittie has seen a (very) rough edit of the film already and in her own words she found it 'fascinating'.

We will shortly be running a competition where you can win tickets to the star-studded premier.

Yes I helped to write various bits and we covered a very brief history of popular burlesque giving nods and mentions to Eliza and Lydia of course. There is way too much burlesque (history, modern performers, shows and events) to fit in to one film and so this film naturally, concentrates on the ultra glam, high production values burlesque which is Immodesty's signature style.

It's beautiful and will be absolutely essential viewing for all of us - newbie or seasoned pro, I'm certain that the film will inspire each of us in one way or another.

I cant wait to see it! Will it be coming overseas? If not I suppose I could get it on dvd.

A few British based performers do feature also - clips of a variety of burlesque acts are used to highlight the history and modern scene I think you'll be thrilled to see which two MoB Academy graduates / new High Tease performers get to grace the screen too!

I need to tell you.... James, Jim Devereaux and I went to see a private a screening of the film on Wednesday - and it is in one word 'inspirational'.

I really think you will all be thrilled to bits to see it as it's super glamorous (I can't imagine anything more dazzling), really interesting, funny, personal and above all it has an amazing motivation power to it - i.e. you see it and you can't wait to rush home and get designing and researching for the most exquisite costuming you can possibly acquire/create.

It's just delightful.

There will be a glamorous, celeb filled London premier screening at the end of January and then more around the UK - I'll keep you posted about how to be part of it.
