Tempest, you are a sage of wisdom! I will be there in that group hug and enjoying the fact that burlesque is all about accepting who we are, skinny, curvy, blue or orange. It can be hard being a larger woman considering performing such an act of liberation but everyone can be beautiful. I have seen performers ranging through all sizes and, as I said before (I think!), the best performers are the ones that look like they are enjoying it and are proud of what they are doing, even if their technique isn't the best.
