Can I just add that Daiquiri originally tried out for Battle Of Burlesque way back in early 2006 and at the time we didn't think that she quite ready. However, it's testimony to her great attitude that she took our words on board and spent the next 2.5 years steadily learning her craft properly and each time we've seen her perform since, she's got better and better and better.

This is a refreshing change to many performers I could mention (but won't) who have tried out for us, not made the grade and then spent the rest of their time telling everybody that we obviously have some sort of personal vendetta against them or how they are 'doing everything in their power to disassociate themselves from MoB' etc...

Daiquiri is a great example of somebody who has put in the hours, improved at a steady pace and doesn't think that the world owes her a living. If more new performers took a leaf out of Daiquiri's book, there would be a hell of a lot more great performers on the circuit!

If more performers were prepared to leave their egos' at the door and realise that, like everything, success doesn't come overnight, the whole burlesque scene would be a lot more professional and fun.
