I nearly had an 'I just seriously lost it' moment at work - several times in fact! One of the best was on my last night, when a lad I went to school with came in and recognised me. Now, this guy had been a complete arse his entire teenage years, and he only seemed to have gotten worse as he got older. For the entire time I was dealing (and we had few breaks that night, I was stuck there a couple of hours) he was making racist and sexist comments to and about other people. The way I saw it, I was already leaving - what were they going to do to me if I bit back? So I made it very clear what I thought of him, to the point where he was insulting me and I was simply being cutting back. I even turned to my manager and loudly asked him when my break was, because I couldn't stand dealing to this lad any longer. When I finally got taken off the table, I looked at him and said 'thank f**k for that!' and stormed off to tell the management what an arsehole he had been. So not a serious loss of composure, but quite fun nonetheless!
