I realise this is slightly off the general theme of the thread as it's not a burlesque related attack, but I had a serious day job attack this morning. Let me just say, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!
Right, now that's out. I manage a small team in a finance company and hadn't even sat down, I mean literally still had my backpack on (I walk to work) and had to walk straight in and pluck someone from an argument and get them into an office to talk. Then 10 mins later while I was off talking to someone who witnessed the whole thing they came back and started the same accusations all over again with one of the other employees then left. They had very much lost control and I've spent the last 5 1/2 hours sorting out the repercussions. I'm talking serious, 'I should never have come in today' kind of drama.
Well moving on. More reason for me to keep working on my performances! I'm just not used to that kind of confrontation. Anyone else had a serious 'wow they just totally lost it' moment at work?
