We often voiced the opinions in my A Level class that perhaps Freud had his own issues ^_^ I remember one lad, after being told yet another sexually-centred theory, simply blurting out "Bloody Freud, it's all sex and yer mum!" Words to live by, if ever there were any ...

I can't be doing with much of Freud's child development theory - I don't want to be told I'm morally inferior to a man thank you! - but some of the psychoanalytical theories on sexuality are quite compelling. Often quite disturbing, especially about female but nonetheless valid, I think.
