In my experience, at local dance-type places, there is always someone worse than you!

Its got nothing to do with burlesque, but when i was at uni, me and one of my housemates joined the gym. She was a little stunner, really petite with the most enviable figure and face, and i just felt like a big heffing klutz next to her. but when we went to an aerobics class, i couldnt believe how unco-ordinated she was! it was the first time in my life i actually felt dainty!

So, two things: 1) you wont be the worst, even if people look like they are better able to do it than you. and 2) no-one will be paying attention to what your doing anyway, as they are concentrating too hard on making their own limbs behave in the right way!!
